The Ultimate Pre-Departure Checklist for International Students
Congratulations on getting your visa! The hard part is nearly over, but the final preparation is crucial. A smooth departure sets you up for success in your new country. Here is the ultimate checklist for Bangladeshi students heading to Australia, the UK, Canada, Malaysia, or New Zealand.
1. Important Documents (Carry in Hand Luggage)
Never pack these in your checked luggage!
- Passport: Valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay.

- Academic Transcripts: Originals or certified copies of all previous degrees.

- Airport Pickup Confirmation: If booked through university or agent.
- Travel Insurance Policy: Printed copy.
- Medical Prescriptions: Doctor’s letter for any medication you carry.

- Cash: Carry AUD 500-1000 (or equivalent currency) in small notes for immediate expenses.
